Rates & Terms

For full transparency, the following terms are in place to support clear communication and smooth clinic operations.

My goal is to make relief coverage easy, efficient, and dependable for your team.

Below is everything you need to know about scheduling, fees, and expectations before booking.

💲 Daily Rate
  • Competitive daily relief rates. Please contact me to discuss availability and pricing. 
    • Rates are discussed individually based on schedule, location, and clinic policies. 
  • Booking Includes
    • Up to 10 hours per weekday
    • Up to 7 hours per weekend
    • One-hour lunch break and one-hour medical record block (record block not needed for Saturdays)
    • Weekday Example: I've worked many years seeing patients with this schedule --> 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
Overtime Policy
  • If the workday extends beyond the agreed end time, the following will go into effect:

  • Overtime is billed at $300 per hour

  • Time is calculated in 30-minute increments

  • Example: If the 6:00 PM shift actually ends at 6:40 PM, an additional $300 is billed

💳 Payment Terms
  • Payment is due at the end of each day worked

  • For multi-day coverage up to 7 days, payment can be made on the final day​

  • For longer assignments, payment should be made weekly​

  • Payment is considered late after 14 days from the date worked, or last day of multiple days​

  • You agree to pay any collection fees or related costs if payment is not received or is returned due to insufficient funds​

  • Accepted forms of payment: Zelle, ACH, or business check.

🧾 Medication Refill Policy
  • Medications will only be refilled when:

    • There is clear, current documentation in the medical record

    • The pet has been seen within the past 12 months

    • The request aligns with the clinic’s policies and complies with TVMA and state veterinary board requirements

    • If the situation is unclear or documentation is missing, I will document the concern and defer the refill to the primary veterinarian

🩺 Surgery and Dental Policy
  • I do not perform surgeries or dentals on the first day working in a new clinic. These procedures are only considered after we’ve had a chance to establish clinic fit and confirm equipment, support, and protocols in place.

  • Please do not schedule any surgeries without prior discussion.

  • Upon mutual agreement, I may perform:

    • Spays and neuters

    • Mass removals

    • Abscesses, hematomas, or seromas

  • Other soft tissue procedures or dental work are evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the clinic’s setup. I also offer surgery-exclusive shifts for clinics needing help with spays, neuters, dentals, or general soft tissue procedures.

📋 Cancellation Policy
  • No charge if canceled 7 or more days in advance since this allows me to rebook the day

  • 50% of the daily rate if canceled 3 to 6 days in advance

  • 100% of the daily rate if canceled within 48 hours
